Upper A-arm studs

I borrowed this picture from RedRat to show what I'm talking about.
I'm wondering if those studs are replaceable? If not how would you go about fixing it if one broke? The ones I'm looking are pretty rusted up tread wise. I know when I go to remove the nuts they are going to snap the stud.

Re: Upper A-arm studs

I use Kroil and I don't think it would be a bad idea to soak them down. I think its just inevitable that its going to break. The threads are rusted off in some areas its a mess. That's why I've held off on trying to mess with it and open pandoras box getting it fixed correctly again.

Arrow Re: Upper A-arm studs

They are totally replaceable all ya do is knock them out with a good 3X air hammer.........Not an air chisle.

Use either the Kroil or PB Blaster to soak the studs with and don't try to trun them because they are splined under the head just like a lug nut stud.

Goog luck.
