Anyone ever use these Portowalls
http://www.mooneyesusa.com/catalog/p...fdcc206aae61af
seem kind of interesting. Easier than the home made ones cheaper than the real thing. |

Re: Anyone ever use these Portowalls
Uh, my dad used them in the '60's on his '61 Biscayne. He liked them.

Re: Anyone ever use these Portowalls
They don't have any 12-inch goodies. Crap...can't put them on my Cub Cadet tractor. But, they do have the right size for my Honda 50 MiniTrail.
Yeah, I got a set for my 17th birthday to put on my '54 Ford. The one's I got were supposed to look like Goodyear Double-Eagles. But, this was in '64. Narrow whitewalls were only a couple of years old, as a stying cue. Nobody wanted wide whites. We didn't have a retro thing going. No nostalgia. No newstalgia. No old school. These have their place in giving a look to what can't be obtained. But I still want some in a 12-inch size. There's got to be an Austin Mini (original) that needs wide whites to look "stock".
