Re: `72 CheyenneSuper CustomCamper

I think it`s got an Add-A-Leaf or spring work.Tires are 285/75.
I have the tank,it`s out due to the wood rot.It dropped out while driving and I took it off the road. The bottom of the bed is damaged.I`ll get a picture tomorrow.I haven`t done any body work, but stripped the fenders, doors, and cab behind the doors/cab corners.I did some of the bed.The wheel houses are pitted, but straight. No dents and the flanges are healthy. The head board is rusted in the top roll(strange).I have a nice one to go with it.I saw no rust in the corners or fenders.I stripped the chrome to preserve the sheetmetal. The paint divider is good as are the CustomCamper scripts. The tailgate is rough(rusted bottom).I have an ochre/white original paint tailgate that I can offer.Yes,to the headliner and tilt.I have a set of 235/85 all seasons on Ford rims,I believe.I just stuck these on.These tires are worn, wheels like new.The tie rod is n.o.s. w/new tie rod ends.I took out a Chevelle steering wheel and replaced with an uncracked black original.AM radio changed out for Sears AM/FM/Cassette.Bedside top rails are straight, just messed up at fuel tank brace at bottom.Cross sills good including rear sill. This truck is not that bad.Definately some work, but very restoreable. My marriage problems are the only reason it has to go.I decided to hang on to my blue truck truck because I need a driver, now.More pics tommorrow.

Re: `72 CheyenneSuper CustomCamper

Tim,

I been meaning to get over there. I would like to get this one from you. I may or maynot take your extra engine for sale...... I will think on that after I talk with you and get a price. Hopefully one night early next week I can hookup with you.

You got a step bed from me awhile back.

Re: `72 CheyenneSuper CustomCamper

Oh yeah,Collectorcar,I didn`t remember your User name.I lost your #.I was going to drop by and let you know about the liquidation.I don`t get down that way, though. You should move out this way.Truthfully,I`d rather keep the motor for my shortbed project. At least until I could come up with another motor.I also have a`70 parts Blazer with a good motor.Hasn`t run in years, but a very rebuildable truck 350.I need to tear into that one and get it gone.

Re: `72 CheyenneSuper CustomCamper

Any chance you have some long lost relatives in Portland Oregon, And you have been looking for a excuse to come and see them, And you you really want to tow this truck along for fun? What are the chances? If not here is a ttt for you. Your truck has all the right options.

Re: `72 CheyenneSuper CustomCamper

Here is the area that got messed up from the aux.tank...

There`s a patch panel made for there if fixing doesn`t seem possible.

Here`s the bed condition. The rear sill is very solid as well as the rest of the bed metal...
