when doing a disc brake swap are the dust shields needed? What would happen if I didnt use them? Thanks Sal

They are really not needed. A lot of big brake kits don't use them. It's mainly for keeping the brake dust from coating everying on the suspension and keeping crap out of the inner bearing area. I have done big brake kits and just cut the main part of the shield off leaving the inner part that helps to cover the inner bearing, just to help keep the crap out of them.

No the booster will hit my intake manifold, ( 250 6cyl)
any tips ?
