6cyl flexplates, all the same?
Are most of the 230 on up 6 cylinder motors the same for flexplates/flywheels? I need to get a flexplate to swap over to my 200R4 and of course parts stores only go so far back. Need to know if they used the same flexplates up into the later year models.

I believe it depends on the transmission, not the engine. My used 250 came with a flexplate and starter for a Powerglide (I am guessing) because it was smaller and the torque converter bolts didn't line up. I bought a replacement for a 350/400 transmission and it worked fine with a new starter too
