trying to get the feeling for do more mods
okay guys getting ready in a few weeks to do the motor swap in my 71 pulling the 307 out and going with a fresh built 305 that i built anyway the motor came with power steering pump and brackets and hoses off a 78 will these hoses work on the 67-72 power steering boxs? i have all the pullies for the swap, also does anyone have a part number for the fan belt they used? i can't seem to even get the right belt to fit it now as it is. lol

guys i know this is probley a easy question that i should know but yeah all i need is to know if the hoses from the 78 will fit the 67-72 style power steering boxs?

This probably won't be much help but GM cars changed to metric stuff in '82 the same year the S10 was introduced. If they changed over everything about the same time '78 might be OK.
LMC lists the same steering sector 68-72 as 73-76. They also list the same return line for 73-80. I would say the threads will work but the length/shape might be awkward. |
