AC Questions
I was talkin to a few guys at the local cruz tonight about some AC unints, and one of them said i should buy a "underseat" unit, he said he bought one for his coal truck, have any of you guys done this or even heard of it?

Now that you said that it might be from a big rig parts place. May want to go ask them if they have a set up like that. We got a couple of big rig parts stores, think pep boys style but just large truck and rv stuff. I have went to them to look for some odd marker lights and such and saw some a/c stuff there but didnt really pay attention.

I remember an antique car show I went to some years back and a guy had an old truck that had an underseat unit. He said he really liked it and thought it was the way to go on old trucks. Not sure what year it was but I think in the late 40's or early 50's.
Personally, I would prefer the underdash on my truck. Some of these older trucks didn't have much room under the dash since A/C in trucks was unheard of back then. |
