GMC Grille

Will a grille from 69 GMC fit the same year chevy? I found a parts truck with a good grille and want to know if it fits without modification. Thanks!

Re: GMC Grille

No. The GMC fenders and support are way different in 69-72.

Re: GMC Grille

You need a GMC core support to go with the grille. All GMC grilles/core supports match,67/68 Chevy and 69/72 Chevy grilles/cores match.
GMC fenders are the same as 67/68 Chevy fenders, with the marker light in`68.
But,you should get that grille and support if you can.A repro grille costs over $400 and the core supports aren`t repro`d.Just check for rust in bottom outer corners of support.
