were chrome wiper arms an option
i was checkin out a local salvage yard and found a nice pair of chrome wiper arms. are these original or did some one add them?

All of the 67-72 trucks and parts trucks I have owned all had s.s. wiper arms..even the low optioned ones.

chrome 'blade holders' was the option. I think it came with special packages (Cheyenne, CST, etc.)

i've never seen chrome wiper arms all the ones i've owned had stainless steel i believe

I agree with the SS being the correct wiper arms and blade holders. I have found chrome arms and holders on GM cars (pre 68 I believe). Before the DOT regulations changed in that time period. Chrome mirrors, chrome wipers, etc. that could cause glare for the driver. I have also found some nice arms/holders on Ford Galaxies.
Not 100% correct for our trucks but a good looking upgrade - just like the rally wheels for 2wd trucks. Not correct but a lot of people use them. They are out there if you look.

I got chrome ones.....or maybe there stainless steel but they look good..
