Re: Value question
It really depends on the quality and the condition of the rebuild. How long ago it was, how complete, options and if it is the right price for the buyer.
Some pics would help

Re: Value question
Could always start higher, you can always come down on price. Rarely do you get to come up on it!

Re: Value question
What people will pay for a car or truck has nothing to do with how much work or money was put into it. It's about what they would have to pay to get what they want. What I mean by that is someone can always shop and compare, and if they can buy a similar car for x dollars, they won't pay more than x dollars to someone else. It just depends on whats for sale at the time in the area the buyer is located.
We've all heard of nice trucks sitting for sale with a good price for months, then another that sells faster than the owner is ready for at a price he may have thought was high. Personally, I don't plan on ever doing another rusty body project car. I will pay a bit more for one with a good body and poor mechanicals because for me, the wrenching is easier and cheaper than body work and paint. Other buyers will feel differently.
