How much would you pay?

So, driving home last night, found a 60-66 long bed trailer with a for sale sign on it. Basically someone took a 60-66 pickup, hacked the front clip and cab off, and welded a hitch to it. Nice welds. So it has terrible wiring/non existant wiring, a crappy topper, and junk tires. It's based on a 3/4 ton chassis.

Im looking for a box so I can replace the flat bed on my truck with an actual box.

The box itself is mostly solid. The rear corner panels that hold the taillights are both kinda screwed up. The left one has a big gouge dent with many screw holes. The right one is twisted and un-attached from the lower part of the rear side panel. No bumper, everything has that farm-old dirt/rust coating underneath.
The original bed floor is mostly there, rotted away and all. All the structural metal seems straight. He screwed down new plywood over-top the old bed floor surface.

Tail lights are cracked, probably wouldnt work if plugged in.

The left panel behind the wheel well is creased as well. Throughout the entire right side there are screw holes, probably 30 or so. In the crease of the side there is surface rust. The front of the bed is flat and true.

Any ideas what you'd pay? Being the rear corners are messed up, kinda looses value. The tailgate is in ok shape, only has 1 latch.

Re: How much would you pay?

So, he had a sign on the trailer 450 dollars. For a trailer, its no the best of shape, wiring sucks, so I couldnt even use it to trailer something.

For a bed, the corners are messed up.

Called the guy, offered 200 bucks and he almost laughed.

Then i asked him what he'd consider coming down to and he said maybe 4 and a quarter.

I laughed and hung up.

So in a month or so I may call back, because I'm sure it will still be there rotting away.
