Re: TN - Luv Bought New Tires (Part 1)
Careful, I just may take you up on that.
At any rate, I was planning on using my brakes and all, just switching out everything between the backing plates. I have done it before, and if you're careful with some mechanics wire, you don't even need to bleed the brakes. I'd be real worried about a, breaking U bolts and b, getting them back on while so far away. The last truck I did this on required a 9 foot long cheater bar. At any rate, I just received confirmation that the wife will most likely not be joining me (mostly because of our two dogs, and the truck is really loud with the read end like this (also the exhaust sucks). If she comes at all it will be because she found a nearby tent camping place where we'll stay the weekend with the dogs, and she'll most likely go directly there. If you guys know any good places to camp around there, let me know. I was planning on three hours. I think I saw directions on your other thread, so I'll follow those mostly. Six hours in this rig should be fun. I may stick around long enough to stuff some food in me and meet a few people though. As long as I have enough daylight to get home in, and not piss the wife off too much, all should be well and good. P.S. How come you don't know what gears are in it? Just curious, it'll be better than what I have regardless. Thanks -Brian
