radiators, radiators, radiators.....................
what radiators other than stock are yall using with success? i have a stock/mild 350 which im pulling to freshen up and replace the cam. thats whats going back in and i need a radiator. if someone could tell me where i could get a radiator and electric fan to match for under $250-$300 that would fit in my 66 C10 i would really appreciate it. i dont mind fabbing a bracket.
thanks, John

Re: radiators, radiators, radiators.....................
I used Summit Racing part # SUM-380328 RADIATOR ALUM CHEV 28 X 19 in my 64. It's a 2 core cross-flow aluminum and it works great on my stock 350. Stays about 170-175 with a 180 thermostat and no shroud in 90+ degree weather. I had to fab up some brackets for it because it dosen't fit between the frame rails, but it will fit between the battery box and the inner fenders. And, they're only $152 plus shipping. Only thing, there's no drain petcock and no auto trans cooler. If you're running an auto-trans, you'll have to add a trans cooler if you use this rad.

Re: radiators, radiators, radiators.....................
An exteranal cooler for the tranny is a lot more efficient....However you probably want it more sanitary looking.
