Hello MisterE72,
By chance would you have a phone number or a Email address. I am in need of a hard to find part that is not manufactured or offered by retailers.

Re: Salvage yard for 67-72 chevy's?

I'm pretty sure that junkyard is in the Bay Area somewhere. Maybe near San Jose. The owner is judicious about snagging any "parting outs" or cheap 68-72s that come up in Craigslist or anywhere--smart dude. I really want to go there, I need these stupid brake brackets and rods that are just impossible to fine...

Now that's what I call a GOLD mine. Just think...would we get all that excited if that was a bunch of Ford or Dodge trucks.

Re: Salvage yard for 67-72 chevy's?

theres one of those around here, but its mostly picked over. theres still quite a bit of good stuff, but the old man either wont sell it, or wants a fortune for it.
theres a 72 swb fleet in his shop that is clean, no rust,in primer,no engine,no trans....he wants $7500 for it

Seriously, someone on here probably has one or more of the part you are looking for that they want to sell. Just subscribe and ask for one. Subscription is only $25. I got a great deal on a part that's not reproduced.
