I FINALLY got the hidden hinges functional. It wasn't that it was a lot of head scratching, it was just a LOT of work! Had to drill 64 holes, yes six-four, and tap 20. There was multi layered metal to cut and drill with weird internal angles that wanted to push the bits to the side or break them... I was starting to doubt if this was really worth doing but now I'm a believer. Here's some pics of the driver's side:       Mounted...  and it works
