Temp guage
Ok need a little help temp gauge showed no water temp at all. Check guage had 12v on one side nothing on the other. Grounded the other side and no guage movement. Changeout guage now guage show high water temp and won't move.

sender should send you a variable resistance to ground. Assume you changed the sender? Tough call from here not knowing what all you have done in your restoration.

You should also check the sender and check the wire for a short.

I think I will change the printed circuit, I now have no voltage going to the gauge. I had trouble making the fuel gauge work, had to keep moving the connector that plugin the circuit board. The temp gauge has not worked since the PO had it.

I think you're on the right track with the printed circuit. If I remember right, the lands can get loose and break where the connector goes in. I vaguely recall something similar with one of my guages and it was a loose land.
