New issue of Classic Trucks

Anybody else seen the October issue of Classic Trucks? Theres a sweet 69 GMC SWB and a 70 Blazer on the cover. Both are very sweet rides.

Are They owned by Board Members by any chance?

Got it today in the mail. That blazer is killer, don't think either owner is a board member though.

Re: New issue of Classic Trucks

Classic Trucks and Custom Classic Trucks are both owned by Primedia and are essentially "sister" magazines.

I like 'em both

Re: New issue of Classic Trucks

Just got it today in the mail ---- stoked to see a GMC getting some love in print like that

although, correct me if i'm wrong, but haven't pictures of that truck been circulating on the board for a few months?

I hope the dude doesn't mind me stealing his idea and pwdercoating my grille anthracite as well --- it matches the color of my TT2 ST's

As far as the interior though (look away -- just look away) ---- i think i will be happy with a highly detailed stock dash in lieu of housing the gauges in a relocated glovebox door (not that there's anything wrong with that)

I don't care for all of the tweed in the GMC either, but all around two very nice rides

Re: New issue of Classic Trucks

I like the grill on the GMC. How was that done? A chrome grill with a powdercoated center?

Re: New issue of Classic Trucks

I didn't catch the hood mod on the pickup until I read the article. Welded in the center section of a 98 model hood.
