rear question

soo....

I'm installing 2 1/2 drop spindles in my truck.

I want to be able to leave the rear at stock height but level level the truck out at times. Which would be about 4 drop in the rear.

I know nothing about air bags. but I'm guessing this would be the best way to go about this.

Any suggestions on how I would set this up and what bags would work for this and what else would I need.

and what else I would have to do to the rear of my truck?

Re: rear question

The best set-up for you would be to just replace the coil springs with bags in the rear.

No modification would be required for the basic install you want. In fact, if your not concerned with in cab control, you can just run 1/4" line to a schrader valve mounted somewhere under the bed (bumper, near license plate, etc.) and air/deflate just like you would with air-shocks.

I prefer firestone or SS bags kinda like these. These are the 7" ones.

Also shown are the bolt-on mounting plates.

Are we talking just the rear or the whole truck ??

Check out my frame build post here that I am doing for a customer. It is actually a real nice bolt-on set-up.

More pics soon.....
