Lug Nuts?

What lug nuts do I use to put late model 8 lug aluminum wheels(CHEVY) on my '72 C20? I am not going to be using the caps. Just want chrome lug nuts. Thanks

I'm a thinkin' that standard acorn nuts with 1/2-20 threads will work unless you have metric studs. Best way to check is to get a regular old 1/2-20 nut and screw it on. If that works, hold the wheel on the hub and measure how far out the stud sticks from the nut socket to determine depth of thread your new nuts will have to be. Buy accordingly.

good luck,

Re: Lug Nuts?

I might be wrong but I thought the 3/4 ton truck. in '72, came with 9/16 studs. At least thats what my '71 has.
