trim removal
How do I remove the fender trim on a 72c10 custom delux? I got the trim off the cab ok, but I can't seem to find where the clips are. If I open the hood and feel along the inside of the fender where the upper trim is I can feel cap nuts as far down as I can reach, but are there more, and is there a trick to getting the cap nut off that is at the rear edge of the fender in the crease of the door. I can't seem to position the door right to get a wrench back there. I'm not going to use the trim again, but it is in good shape, it just needs repainted and polished to look like new again. I was hoping to maybe sell it, so I don't want to wreck it if I don't have to. but if I have to I will. Thanks for the help in advance.

The easiest (maybe only) way to get to all the speed nuts on the finder trim is to remove the inner fenders. And the one in the door jam is a real pain. I had the doors off when I removed mine.
If you're not putting the trim back on then I assume your going to be filling the holes and painting. If that's the case you could just run a hacksaw blade between the trim and fender and cut them off.
