Re: ? on glovebox options

#3 is the Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PVC) system and #11 appears to be the Air Injection Reactor or smog pump (California trucks). Regarding #4, I believe that in 1967 the only Hydra-matic offered on trucks was the Turbo 350 3-speed. I don't know about the other ones on your list but I am sure there are others on this board that can help you.

Re: ? on glovebox options

actually, the TH350 came into play in 69, that would be the TH400.
If no engine option is listed, then you have to look at the VIN. If it starts with CS or KS, then it'd be a 250 inline 6... if it starts CE or KE, then it'll be a 283.
Z61 Custom Appearance option: Chassis and cab & pickups only; includes bright metal grille moldings, headlight bezels, vent window frames & windshield moldings, control knob trim, horn button cap; color keyed vinyl coated rubber floor mats; custom emblems. Not available with Custom Sport truck option os ordered
Special paint... an odd ball color or color combo, but not way out in left field to call for a COPO deal.
Z62 Custom Comfort Option: Chassis and cab & pickups only; includes RH & LH arm rests, RH padded sunshade; cigar lighter; special cowl insulation;full depth foam seat with fabric upholstery; under body coating; vinyl door trim. Not available with Custom Sport truck option is ordered.

Custom C&C=Custom Comfort & Covienience pkg which is the custom model interior.
Custom Appearance pkg=It`s a "Custom".Does it have a badge on the door under the window?
Isn`t it a COPO to get a none production color, alone?Aren`t the codes different like with COPOs?

Re: ? on glovebox options

I've been noticing a few that are not normal paint, but not COPO.
What is the original paint color/scheme?

Re: ? on glovebox options

Yeah,I don`t know what determined a COPO as far as paint goes.I`ve seen trucks with what appears to be normal options except special paint have the normal codes and some with special codes which I always took as one way to determine a COPO.

Re: ? on glovebox options

I'm 99% sure a COPO truck would say it on the SPID. I've seen a few that did.

Aight!Maybe the numbers vary when there`s just special paint or anything else that keeps it runnung throught the line with the rest.

well here goes. it's a 1967 c/10 chevy suburban that i lowered(cut springs, soon to hopefully be bagged & tuckin 20's & layin frame. workin on it as we speak). had the windows tinted, 74 c/10 disk & crossmember swap, temporary army camo tan paint, mid to late 70's 350 hopefully soon to be ditched for the mildly built 350 im working on. it has a th400 trans(hope to get it rebuilt soon as well), going to also ditch the tired 6 lug rearend for a 76 c/10 5 lug rearend that i have. going to start doing all the body work and mods after the suspension is done.

ANother special paint truck! Wish there was a way to tell what these colors were named, if they were used from another GM line or whatever.

Re: ? on glovebox options

loghorn man & special-k.
yes the taillights have been moved to where the original ones used to be(only because the taillight buckets were gone). the way that i have the taillights set up right now is only temporary as i have a set of caddy tails that will be going in it.
