New project, Where to start?
i got a c-10 maybe a 69 or 70 with a 350 auto. the truck had been setting for like 4 years. i am going to get a battery and try and start it. i sprayed WD-40 in the spark plug holes and got new spark plugs. everything seems to be great. DOSE any one know if there is anything i should look out for first??? i am sure i am not the first person to come across this project?

Re: New project, Where to start?
check the wiring. my 69 had problems with that and i ended up rewiring my ignition and starter. is it turning over? or does it run? ohh and get a fridge magnet and check the body for rust... if it doesnt stick to a spot mark it then check for rust or bondo that could be a trouble spot if it wasnt done right.

Hey Peter82...
You don't look good in red...you better send it to Ohio. Actually I think that is Scarlet with gray accents. Yes that does belong in the buckeye state. This looks like a truck with good bones. Congratulations!!
