Blazer Tailgate Seal Retainers
As a matter of fact, I don't know what to call them. These are the plates that hold the seals in place for the tailgate to bed side seal. In good shape with screws included. $10.00 shipped.SOLD, thanks Jim

Re: Blazer Tailgate Seal Retainers
You don't happen to have a picture of exactly where these go and what they look like when they are on the truck? I am clueless on where they go and do not see them on my truck so I would be interested in them if I knew exactly what they look like on a truck and if my truck needs them.

Re: Blazer Tailgate Seal Retainers
JWPOORE, This pic shows it. Look on the right side of the bed side, where the tailgate would meet up with it. The black line is the rubber seal it holds in place.
This is not normally installed on trucks, but lets say you had a nice bed cover and wanted to be able to seal the tailgate tight, these parts from a blazer would do it. FYI, there is also a seal that goes along the bed floor, held down by a carpet strip, and a seal on the bottom of the blazer hatch, which meets with another metal strip that runs along the top of the tailgate. I have that top strip also, but I don't want to sell it and ship it because the last time a shipped a long skinny metal part, it ended up being two long skinny broken parts and the buyer was not happy. I ended up loosing the part and the cost to ship it. 6t727t2, you are next in line.
