I was just wondering if anyone has tried the edelbrock e-tec top end kit for a chevy 350 and if so is it a good buy? i will be working with a performance bottom end and my goal is 450 or 500 hp! one way or another.

Re: Question on top end kit

I haven't used the E-tec heads or the kit, but I've been considering it. IMO it is a good buy considering what it is capable of producing. I think to acheive your desired hp goal, you'll need to upgrade to a bigger roller cam and probably bump the compression up a little. It might be a little easier to get those numbers if you went with a 383 or 406. If you haven't already, post this question in the engine forum.
