Question 69-70 grille ?

Hey everyone, hope all is well with your trucks! My ? is , is there any problems
with switching a 72 grille with a new 69,70 grille. I know the fenders are the same. Is there anything else? Thanks.

If you mean the outer (shiny) part....yes. It's been done many times. The inner part (plastic) is different for the 71-72, but you already knew that, right?

Chevy or GMC (i'm guessing GMC since your user name is GMC AMI)

I think the 69-72 GMC grills all bolt in the same.

center brace , hood latch , parking lighta bumper and bumper brackets and don't forget the lighting harness. but yes it all fits and now it is not totaly nessasary to change it all to make it work with a little rigging

Sorry for not being better at asking my ? This would be for a 72 Chevy and even if I only had one GMC truck out of the 7, My first one was a 71 GMC 4x4. In case people do not know ami is french for friend! Not Amy so yes I am not a woman yet! LOL. Thanks for your reply.
