Re: new swb bedfloors

Those guys lie.I had a vendor wanting to buy my original paint rust and dent free`67 Stepside fender.I had it marked at $350*.He said that was high and said,"Not when repros cost $375 and they don`t make`67s.It should be more."He said Goodmark makes them now,but only one guy out in California sells them and there`s shipping.I said,"Had to ship mine, too. And,it`s a real one."He said the guy sells them for $250,but only comes in spring. Now,if Goodmark(who doesn`t actually make them anyway)or let`s say "a manufacturer" produces a hard to find part, would they only let one guy sell it?They may have an exclusive with Goodmark for a limited time to get it marketed better. But,Goodmark is going to sell to anyone with the money, right?
Basically what I`m saying is these guys are salesmen. If they ain`t got it,it don`t exist.
The bedfloors are within weeks of being available.

*He bought it.

That's pretty cheap for a fender in that condition if you ask me. And I agree; LMC is full of bozos.

No the new catalog is with a yellow 47-53 chevy on the front, with the bed floors inside for 599 or 699.

Re: new swb bedfloors

The new Brothers has a blue 60-66 stepside on the cover and announces 750+ new items

I am sure all the vendors will be picking up on htis. It does look real nice...exactly what I have been looking for.

Re: new swb bedfloors

Cross sills are available from any of the board vendors...which includes Brothers. The cross sills in the catalog are right below the bed floor....of course...HUH?

Re: new swb bedfloors

We are hoping the cross sills are installed...or there will be a lot more work & $$$. We need a complete "bolt in" floor.

Re: new swb bedfloors

I was talking with Paul from GMC Pauls at Carlisle and he said he will be handling the bed floors and they have the cross sills installed. He is expecting them to be delivered in a few weeks.

Re: new swb bedfloors

It was probably Truck Shop from California that he talked to at Carlisle.... They are bozo's too... I went up to the booth and asked if they had buddy bucket vinyl kits.... Once he pulled out the catalog (and couldn't point to the right set) he said no, but they are $269... I could have done that dude...
