Finally back on the road!
After it's been sitting for a few months, I have been able to drive my Jimmy again and I love it! Much better than my CJ!
Just got done putting a Dana 60/14 bolt combo with 4.56 gears and a detroit in the rear and 38" TSL Radials. Still need to upgrade to crossover steering, get front driveshaft cut down and installed, lockright in the front, hook up e-brake cable to eldorado calipers,...I am sure that it will never end. Even with 4.56 gears I need more gearing. I accidentally drove a few miles in low-range and what's scary is that I think that I could actually "cruise' at about 30 mph without overrevving. I feel an atlas 4 speed in my future. No pics yet, but here is a before teaser. It is just as ugly now if not uglier!

Now that just isn't right to post up about the upgrades and then not post pics! I call foul!!
What did you do for front rubber brake lines and did you need any adapters to hook them to the hard lines? How is your steering connected? Looking forward to your pics.

My steering is in the stock push/pull configuration right now, but I have a passenger side steering arm from Sky manufacturing, a 2wd box from someone on the board, and I still need to get a draglink made. I am actually shocked at how well the stock configuration steers the truck right now and that's without a block to raise the steering arm and reduce the angles. The truck still needs a lot of "finishing" but it's some good motivation to have it move under its own power. It's pretty redneck engineered compared to the beautiful work done by others on this board.
