That's beautiful!

Why the tears? Are you giving up? Stuck?

tears because 5 yrs should be max time for a frame off. I should be placing my CROME ON! Graduating from high school when you strip it and retirement when you finish it doesn't cut it. It's depressing. We had a family get together recently and they had at least 10 comments like telling my 6yr old son "oh he'll have that truck ready for you just in time for your prom.......no wedding etc.." 1 hr worth. that lit a serious FLAME under me! My son will be lucky to sit passenger when I'm done. He'll have to fix his own ride(I'd help). He won't be as careless driving if he put his own sweat into it.

I find if you break your resto. into mini resto. projects you will get more completed and be less overwhelmed. This way you will keep motivated because your always doing some thing. This also does not hit the old house hold budget so hard.

The little lady might miss $20.000.

esll.

BTW. nice work!

Re: BACKYARD RESTOATION, 1964, in over my head-pictures

My father's best friend spent 13 years restoring his car. Bought in pieces, extra parts and whatnot. Replaced evry nut and bolt, stripped every screw, piece of metal down bare and repainted, ans when he was done 13 years later, he took his car, bought 13 years earlier (for 17,000 dollars I might add) and won 1st place and best of show at EVERY show for the next 9 years before he died. His wife still shows the car to this day and still wins 1st place EVERY time. This was ALL completedin a backyard 2 car garage..ALL OF IT! The car is a 1931 Cadillac Doctor's coupe and is classified a concours restoration value today at over 275,000.00. Take your time man and it will be GREAT! Jerry

I agree the things that are worth in life we need to work harder. Sometimes we get lost on our projects but believed me you will get there.
Don't listen to other people coments, people are never satisfied u just keep focus on your objective and keep walking your path.
Believed me you will get there, that its what this forum its all about to give and received moral support and technical advise from time to time, plan small objectives one step out a time and you will be there.
I believed in you my friend, don't give up. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I rather die on my feet then live a life on my knees.
