Swap '69 throttle rod to 71-72 throttle cable???
I have searched and searched the forum, has anyone done this swap and is is that big of a deal? Pics would be helpful!

im geting ready to on my 71... my original cab had the cable... but i just put a 70 cab on and it has the rod. im going to put my other setup in, i'll take pics as i do it

what about the stud for the accelerator cable?? Do part stores carry them? It is an Edelbrock I've got on my truck.

They should have a wall display with all kinds of little studs for the different types of cables. The Orilley down the street here has them.

I went acrosss the street to Autozone and the mgr gave me a whole kit. I can't say much for some of their parts, starters,alt., etc. but they help me out when ever I need it. Heck he just opened a new carb. box and gave me the whole bag of goodies.
Thanks for the help on the FAQ. I printed it off and put it in my "how to book"
