Eaton Gasket Help, please!!!!!

I searched everywhere I could and can't find the answer.....

Last night, I filled the Eaton axle and it promptly began leaking where this flange/housing attaches to the main housing.

I have tried NAPA, Carquest, the internet and cannot find a gasket for this. I did order a new pinion seal and I'm preparing to install a speedi-sleeve if necessary.

Do any of you gurus know where to get this gasket and how big a job it is to change this?

I dont know if you have oreillys back there but they carry them. I looked them up under a 72 c20. Here is waht I found.

ROL- Differential carrier gasket - My guess the pumpkin
DS14266 3.29

ROL- Differential cover gasket
Ds14265 4.99


This one is probably for the dana 60 but I am includint it any way as they do not specify which is which.

ROL- Differential cover gasket- I think this is for dana 60
DS14215


And just incase you need them
Rol- Axle flange gasket

As for changing the gasket it should be like doing a ford 9".
1. un bolt and remove axles.
2. un bolt rear dif cover to drain out oil.
3. un bolt rear pumpkin and remove. I am told that that pumkin is around 120 pounds so be careful when you remove it.
4. Put gasket adhessive on gaskets and reinstall in reverse order.

I would just use the right stuff on there, and make sure to put sillicone on the bolts too, the holes go right into the oil and it'll come out.
The only eaton # I have is a napa p/n P39130 I don't know if it is for the front or the back, but I suspect it's for the back

I recently changed a carrier on my truck and used silicone. Worked fine.

If you are talkin about the flange just after the pinion yoke with 5 or 6 bolts that attach to the rear housing, get some gasket material, use the flange to create the outline and use an old rifle shell case 30.06 works well to punch bolt holes and then use some type of silicone to help aid in sealing the gasket. Hope this helps.

Use Permatex Ultra Black Silicone Only. Clean Surface With Starting Fluid Or Laquer Thinner First. I Use It All The Time Even In Semi Trucks. They Come That Way From The Factory. Same Thing Just Smaller Diff.
