Re: Last bits for my 71', Lil' Red

i have to agree this truck looks even better in person, great job!!! having built a few of these, id like to offer my honest, humble opinion as far as the gas cap hole goes, id get it fixed right. maybe not right away as im sure youd like to enjoy the truck, being so close to completion, but im sure the more you drive it, the more things you will find that you dislike and will want to redo and you can address the issue then. i know its not wallet friendly answer, but if you are like me, it will bug the crap out of you everytime you look at it, until its fixed the way you wanted it. just my 2 pennies. great looking truck and timeless styling you'll never get tired of looking at.

I agree with you 100%. I am going to enjoy the truck a while and then have a few little nick's fixed and the gas cap hole at the same time. I noticed yesterday that I have a small power steering leak that I need to fix...I want to put Glock's rear disc set-up on her...I have a few other plans....but she is moving now under her own power...That is a huge mile stone in it's self!!!

Thank You Corn, I think she looks pretty sharp too!!! Now to find that bikini girl to pose next to her!!! LOL!!!

Congrats... it's great to see that truck run on its own power. Now all you have to do is get that license...
