I wish I was going, but it's quite the drive. It would be a homecoming of sorts for my truck. It was originally a San Jose farm truck, when San Jose still had farm land and grandpa was a farmer. The gathering is at Alum Rock, as I recall? My mom used to take us swiming at a pool that was at an Alum ROck park, is this one and the same park? The farm was off of Fontanosa Road, which was off of Coyote Creek. Any of that ring a bell for the SJ crowd?

The indoor pool ! Man that was along time a go. I remeber swimming there that was fun.

Then it had to be in the 40's-50's The indoor pool was there for years My dad would take us there in the late 60's

How about Frontier Village, is that still there?
For awhile they leased a pasture on grandpa's farm for grazing some horse.

I remember going to Frontier Village when I was little....I don't remember too much, but I do remember a train that went thru a small mountain or tunnel or something (??)

Man that was a long time ago....What street was Frontier Village on anyway ??

Anyone one know what is allowed at the Park? Do they have a web site? just wondering if they have BBQ pits or do I need to bring my gass grill? I am looking forward to meeting all you guys. not sure I am looking forward to the drive with no radio. I am coming from Petaluma. Anyone in the North bay want to meet up and caravan down? Anyway I am looking forward to it.
