Ravelco anti-theft device
Have any of you heard of or are perhaps using the Ravelco anti-theft device? Seems like a pretty good idea to me and from what I've been able to find in indpendent sources, it may just have the best score card out there.
Apprecaite your thoughts on this. Thanks.

Re: Ravelco anti-theft device
I did a bit of reseach on that product last summer. I like the concept, but for the price you can secure your ride using alternate methods.
Also, if you lose that key, you are screwed. Personally, I'd use other solutions

I looked into it a year or so ago but I never followed through with it. It sounds like a good deal to me but I don't know how well it would work with the engine compartment being so easy to get into. I think I would also put an inside hood release on the truck if I was going to invest in one. FAQ by Putter on this mod, link below: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=136797 LockDoc

Re: Ravelco anti-theft device
My Father-in-law has it on his 2000 chevy and he loves it. Seems to work well, and he hasn't had any problems yet.
