New Project 69 shortnarrow
First off, Glad to find this forum lots of great info.
OK, Got my new toy home a couple days ago. Truck had been sitting for a few years. I aired up tires, put fresh gas in tank, new battery and turned it over a lot. Those old carbs dont like to site dry for a long time. Got tired of playing with it and let it sit a few days come back and took all of about 30 sec to start. Think the gas loosened up the carb. Darn thing runs great. Drove it home. Here are some pictures of the truck Gary |

First off,
Second nice looking project. Any options, year etc.( ok never mind on the year duhhh). You can use Microsoft picture to make the pics fit the file size without having to shrink them. Just an FYI.

Click on the pictures they will get bigger.
truck has a I-6 not sure on how many CID it is. also has 4 speed manual tranny. Think the truck was a forest service truck here in washington at one time but not sure yet. I am looking at taking it to the frame and building it back up. Sandblast and powdercoat. Also going with t bigger motor 350 or bigger dont know yet. Have lots of questions but will ask later. Right now doing the teardown. Just goign slow and labling eveything as it come off. Gary |
