Adapter plate vendor?
Does anyone know any company who has a 1bbl to 2bbl adapter plate I can buy? Can't find one anywhere. Chevy 250 inline 6, stock intake wanting to put on a rodchester 2bbl... got no other choice

Sorry guys, I had it overnighted to me so I could get it on ASAP, so I've been busy. Here is a pic from the website (Summitracing.com)
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku I'm going use my standard Rodchester 2bbl I used on many different cars haha. I actually had to take a 2bbl to 4bbl adapter plate off of it because it is the same one that I was running on this same truck when I had a 350 with a 4bbl intake on it! Due to the shape of the adapter, the intake bolts won't fit if I put in the obvious position for the fuel line and the linkage, I dremelled some of it down, but I didn't feel comfortable doing any more, so I turned it 45 degrees and it bolts into the intake fine now and I can get the fuel line run ok, and I will need to get the linkage from a later model inline 6 where the linkage comes up over the valve cover, at least I know they made that linkage, and I remember a van at a junkyard that had one I can grab for that. The existing linkage was too short anyway. It *says* it's for a Rochester large 2-barrel, but the other problem I am hitting is that the bore is just a cm too small and the throttle plates can't open up all the way (and you know I want that! ), the instructions mentioned this and said it might need to be filed down to accommodate different carbs, so after I catch a good beer buzz I'm gonna head back out to the garage. It's soft aluminum and it is easy to shape. Here's a couple of pics of it sitting in place. Once I find out that it works, I am going to get a new carb on it because I don't want anything that ugly on this truck haha I might try to clean it first of course though...
