question about dropspindles

I was looking at my front suspension last night and noticed something, in the picture, what is circled where would that go when I add drop spindles? will it still bolt on to a backing plate? this may be the dumbest question ever but I dont remember seeing where it goes on the disc brakes ? anyone have any pics?

Re: question about dropspindles

I think that circle is part of the spindle itself (the lower arm of the spindle). The lower ball joint attaches to it. Your lowered spindle will be the exact same.
