Topless in Indiana

Took the top off the blazer. It needs to come off so I can start working on the windshield frame install and the rest of it.The doors dont shut any different after the top is off,I guess it's already to the point of falling apart
It was pretty easy to remove the top with the hoist.I lifted the top off the tub enough to get a strap under it,wrapped it around the top in the center, hooked it to the chain hoist and lifted it enough to drive it forward and then let the top down..

Re: Topless in Indiana

I need that windshield and windshield frame for mine,I dont think I can drive it much without a windshield at night

I took the blazer to the river today and tried out the 4wd.It worked even with the hub on the drivers side screwed up.It runs real good...I think I'm gonna leave the drivetrain as is now and swap the 4spd in after I get the lift kit in and some body work done...

On mine..the p.o. cut the frame off to use on his other k5.He included one to use but it needs some work..it also was cut too short so I have to get the pillars for the sides so all will be square again...

Re: Topless in Indiana

That looks real weird with the top of the windshield frame missing. Hope it goes back together for you without being to bad of a job.

Re: Topless in Indiana

Run a custom lowered 1/2 wind screen on it and go from there

I have a near perfect one, but the price would scare u to death
