BAD Time on ebay

I got some parts off of ebay from a seller that uses the name FATRODDER. I have not had good luck with him still waiting on my parts. Sucks need the parts to get my truck running again. so just beware of him. I feel a little better: no no I dont oh yea it has been almost a month and no emails etc...

u can go to ebay site and put in a bad response for the seller, that can get some action, if nothing else it would give future buyers notice.

The postal money order thing....I remember doing that.... It's a good idea but the gov. don't work too hard to prosecute. Been there done that, been 8 years & still out $500. Anymore the best way to pay is credit card. JMO

I always check feedback before bidding. Due to the anonymous nature of the system and the sheer number of wackos out there I will generally accept a negative feedback ratio of 1 in 100.

Out of FATRODDER's 1200 feedbacks, that would allow for a dozen negatives. He currently has 49. This is a negative feedback ratio of 1 in 24.

But you have to read the feedback, too. Out of his last 17 negatives, 13 were posted by one guy who has a ZERO feedback rating (an irate newbie?), one had an apologetic follow up wishing he could change it to positive and one complained about no shipment only 4 days after the auction.

Feedback is not perfect, but it is a good indicator. You have to use your best judgement. Good luck ...

This guy has all kinds of Auctions going on.. Like 19 pages.

He is very open with his contact information also.

I have only seen one guy with "NO" negative feedback with a lot of Auctions. And he is a member here, nice guy,but I forgot his name, (skyking or something like that) But i bought a stepside tailgate from him, through E-bay. That is like almost impossible to have that many auctions and NO Negatives. Someone is always disgruntled, what you figure is nice isn't there idea.. ETC. Take the JERKS 13 negatives away,That double posted him, and the guy who wishes he could change his, And Fatrodder isn't sitting too bad with all of his auctions.

But then again I have seen guys with 1400 positives go bad and burn bidders in the end.

Maybe it's something that he ran out of. (yes he should contact you and let you know)

If any of you ever have ebay problems, I can put you in touch with a friend who experienced the same thing. He paid $600 for a guitar that the seller just wouldn't send. He contacted the Attorney General's office and before you know it, his guitar had arrived. Don't let these lowlifes get you down. You DO have recourse when someone tries to cheat you!

I contacted the attorney general for the state of texas for the guy who screwed me on a set of heads. They pretty much told me there was nothing that I could do other than bring him to small claims court.

attorney general

Here in Idaho, I have gotten my money back from a burn by writing the attorney generals office. They sent me my money back, and wrote the attorney general stating that the product "went to the wrong house". I still did a rip-off report on him. Slimy bastar_.

Don't hesitate to file a claim in your local small claims court if you know his address.. I'm a prosecutor in Indiana and I assure you that the only way criminal charges would ever be filed is if your county D.A. filed them. and that will only happen when the crime rate in your area falls to zero (and even then I doubt we would charge him anything but a misdemeanor) Small claims is a great deal, normally 30-40 bucks to file a claim and a result within 4to 6 weeks.

By the way, I'm gonna run for Board Prosecutor in 2003, a dollar for your vote sound good?

A prosecutor buying votes? What's wrong with this picture? Anybody want to complain to the Indiana Elections Commission?

And people wonder I why I don't trust the government ...

I have an idea. Where does Fatrodder live? Surely we have some members there tha would be willing to drive to his house and pick up your part or your money and ship it back. Preferably BIG members.

Just an idea. It is harder to screw with someone if they are standing at your door.
