Who sells a good rear cross member for a LWB 72
Who sells a rear cross member for a long wheel base 72 Cheyenne?
One a two piece drive shaft will work in. Holes to mount the carrier bearing. Mine was cut-out and all the suspension was changed to leave springs. The job was done wrong and the spring hangers were welded in wrong.

I think your only way out is a wrecking yard. Those 'members are riveted in, a yardman who is good with a torch can get one out for you without hurting it.
