3 Seatbelts?
Ok. I need to replace the seatbelts in my `68. It currently just has two. Driver and passenger. Was 3 an option on any of these? So far all of the sets I see have 2?

My '70 has 3 belts, all original. I am going to remove them and put harness' in it. You can have them if you want. They are green.

i put three in from a 73-87 style truck. I used 1/4" plates under the cab, and because of this, i had to mount the retractor part onto the tall part of the floor.
because i also pulled off the rails on my bench seat so it would sit lower, i had to bend the retractor part out on each side so that the seat would sit in between them. I haven't had to "test" the belts yet, but i don't have any concerns since i used grade 8 bolts and the plates were each 3.5" square. the upper shoulder mount holes were already in the cab, so those are factory |

I found a 3 set and put them in my 68 with no problem. Youngest son was going to be the driver and wanted to make sure his passengers were secure.
ofnaman: If he doesn't want them, due to the color, I will take them. Need to add a 3rd to my 69 SWB so my wife will sit next to me.

I'm puting a black set from an 80's S-10 in mine... gain shoulder harnass and they have the "GM" on the buckle too.

Sorry to intrude, but burnoutnova was the first to contact me on the belts, however they may not be his color. If he does not want them I would be happy to give them to anyone on here, Just pay for the shipping.

I took three (green) belts out of my '68...(Odd since there was only two seats but oh well). The plastic buckles was all busted up so I didn't remove them carefully if ya know what I mean. Guess I should have thought before I cut...sorry.

My 67 had three on the bench seat
Personally, I would never trust any used seat belts, you have no way of knowing if they were already involved in a hit or not. They are like helmets... |
