Epson Customer Service
I bought an Epson all in one At BestBuy in December. About a month ago it stopped feeding paper, I could hear the ink cartridges going back and forth but it would just be printing on nothing. I finally got around to calling the customer service # in the manual last Friday, expecting to go through a lengthy process involving troubleshooting, then authorized repair centres The lady from Epson had me do a simple diagnostic test that determined it was a hardware, not a software problem, asked me my serial#, and the date of purchase, and then told me I was eligible to have a replacement Fedexed to me at no charge! The whole conversation took less than 5 minutes. I don't even have to send the old one back. It arrived on Tuesday all the way from Indiana! Needless to say I will only be purchasing Epson printers from now on.

Re: Epson Customer Service
I recommend you read this thread I started a while back.
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=241668 The opposite happened to me so I bought an HP and the memory card reader went bad so we called HP service and they fedexed us a new printer in three days at NO CHARGE. Epson has a nice surprise for you on their printers. I will say that the printer worked very well for the time we had it until It crapped out. The HP has been flawless since we got the replacement.

Re: Epson Customer Service
Well, when it was working it worked flawlessy, printed nice photos and was fairly quick. I didn't pay $300 or $170 for it either it was $60 CDN after rebate. I also like the fact it has separate cartridges for all of the colours, and I can get the knock off ones for cheap. My last printer was a Lexmark and it was a P.O.S. So I'll just keep my fingers crossed that it keeps working, and if it craps out after a couple years it won't owe me anything.

Re: Epson Customer Service
I've been using Epson printers for ten years. I have never had one problem?

Re: Epson Customer Service
Most companies that make small home printers make their money with the ink cartridges. They practically give you the printer but soak you with the cartridge costs.
I had a small Lexmark that I bought on sale for about $50.00. The ink cartridge (black and color) were $20 to $30 and I had to buy one every few months. Sort of like the rechargable batteries for the cordless drills. Replace them every year. |
