Question power booster brackets, do you need them?

I am upgrading to power brakes. I have the booster mounted to the fire wall, but I cant seem to remember how the brackets go. I have looked at some pics, and I cant see the brackets in any of them. Is every one using the brackets?

the 1" wide bracket goes on the drivers side stud that holds the master cyl on. the skinny bar goes directly behind the other on the backside of the brake booster

i'll see about getting a picture for you

I really need pictures, I cant seem to get any thing to line up. When I purchased the booster, I was told that the 67 was alittle different(missing a mounting stud in the fire wall), but I cant remember which bracket wouldnt fit.

Here's a couple of pics from my 72 Jimmy, don't know that it will help. Good luck.
