Windsheld wiper switch

I want to make my dash smooth and i want to put the wiper switch on a regular switch and i want to know what wires to use. There is no switch now only the wires coming from the motor. I was thinking maby of using a 3way switch up would be slow and down would be fast and the middle would be off would that work ?

Re: Windsheld wiper switch

You will need a switch that grounds the two wires for the wiper motor speeds
in the two positions.

What about the windshield washer? It will need a separate switch with the plan you are contemplating.
