Re: Reproduction GMC grills

Seth Doulton (Golden State Pickup Parts founder) did what Carpenter did with what tooling that was available for parts that could sell at the time. Most others were produced off of factory prints where dies had been scrapped, which is the case with most tooling,Ford,Chevy, and forget Dodge.I couldn`t get hardly any`89 parts in`77,from Dodge.

I'm suprised you could get any 89 parts in 77. Must have been prototypes! Chris

Might try to ajust them a bit more.
May I ask where you bought it from? I'm gonna be needin one for mine in the near future.

I bought that grille form Classic Industries: http://www.classicindustries.com/truck.htm
I think it is the same grille that many of the vendors here sell, but I went with Classic Industries because they are fairly close to me and I saved a bunch on shipping (they have will-call, I just shot down there and picked it up). Oh, and speaking of Dodge trucks- I always liked the '72-'93 Dodge Rams (had 2 of them over the years), but no joke, they are tough to get parts for now.
