Salutations!
ABLAZN says that I need to introduce myself (and my Blazer) and I finally figured out where.
Hi! I'm Shirley! I've been the proud "mother" of my 1970 K5 Blazer (aka "Jack") for about a year now. I have no previous car knowledge or experience and have been slowly learning and repairing things on Jack as life makes it necessary. Jack has a small block 350 and currently is sitting on 35" tires with about a 6" lift. Things finished: starter has been changed; steering arm replaced; routine maintenance (oil change; transfer case filled) *remember...I said that I had NO experience in the car maintenance area* Things to do:change the pins and bushings in the door and reinstall the air conditioner (since he once used to have one)...and most importantly...use the offroad license that I purchased but haven't gotten the oppty to break-in. Please feel free to say hi! and introduce yourselves to me. I'm in the Portland, OR (Beaverton) area. Shirley |

Welcome from Seattle. I'm an Oregon transplant and my parents are still in Coos Bay. You should take your rig down to the dunes some time. It's a fine looking truck!

Re: Salutations!
In Washington and Oregon you have to get a yearly off road vehicle permit so you can drive on state land.
