How do I fix this?
ok so I got my Blazer back from paint AGAIN and it still looks horrible. As far as I know everything was primered and he blocked it again after the first time I took it back to him. I dont know how he could have made it look so bad, I've seen a lot of the guys work and all of it looks great. Guess thats what I get for dealing with a friend . Anyway here is what it was painted with.

I'm feeling for ya dude. Nice ride, but with that paint job, I would roll it back several feet, and close the door.

Re: How do I fix this?
That's the first thought that occurred to me. Don't laugh... a couple hours of reading the Moparts "paint job on a budget" thread and you can make that rig look ten times better with little more than $100 worth of rollers and Rustoleum. Last edited by Blackstone; 09-04-2007 at 10:20 PM. |

Re: How do I fix this?
Looks like he didn't spray it wet enough. It went on dry so it's not blending.
For the moment, I would hit it with a Scotch Brite pad. If you sand in long horizontal strokes it will smooth it out and give a more even finish.

Re: How do I fix this?
I agree with N2truxs. Way to dry. Your friend probably did not what the hell he was doing. Not enough reducer. That stuff is easy to spray. I paint everyday. I would get my money back.
