If I found a set of chrome headlight bezels in excellent shape for my 65 gmc on ebay. the going bid right now is 45.00. what would they be worth. or if that is too much how much do you think the average cost of having my grill assembly chromed? I have never done this before

It costs about $300 to chrome a grill.. and that might be a cheap chrome job...

If you are just talking about the headlight bezel's or rims, you can buy them new aftermarket for $45.00 a pair, if you are asking about the whole grill, that would be a steal.

Dont think they reproduce gmc headlight bezels .... If they are perfect I would guess $75-$100... Maybe even $50...

look on lmctruck.com you can navigate through the pages online. It's on page 39. Don't get caught up in bidding drama you'll forget common sense in the excitment of bidding wars. Click on catalog 1960 -1966. you'll be relieved.

gmc is the secret word 3speed lol. joking aside it's hard to find gmc parts. i was waiting to last minute to bid on bezels and dam modem knocked me off line. ooooh soooo mad. my fault for procrastinating

your in the same boat as me dude. I've been lookin for a set of those darn things for a while. 45 isn't bad, I've seen them go for less though. I have two sets of painted bezels, but the just don't look right, so no bezels for now.

As far as a grill, good luck touching a nice one for less than 150 bucks, maybe less for driver quality. Plus you have to take in account shipping charges.

If your grill/bezels are in good shape, I would find a good plating place (theres a really really good one in Nashville, I've seen them on Powerblock TV several times) and get a quote.

Where's rogersville BTW?

rogersville is 55 Ne of knoxville,(4 hours northeast of nashville) I may have found a whole grill that has been blasted with no rust. If I don't decide to get it I will let you know.

I think sleepysal had his powdercoated silver (turn sig Bezels) and looked pretty darn good...might be another option for you. Jerry

I just now noticed how different your front grille area is to chevy's. Your 63 GMC front looks like a 61/62 chevy mix. SORRY my friend. The GMC grille looks pretty sweet though.

If you're just looking for the chrome rings that go around the headlights you can get those from lmc truck. If you're wanting a chrome grille however, Good luck. There's alot of us looking for one. Happy hunting.

Just kiddin. I looked in my "Truck Shop" catalog and they only carry GMC bezels for 69-72. Your right, GMC stuff is hard to find. Honestly I prefer the 4 head light look on most old truck, especially the 67-72.
