overdrive pull cable wanted!!

I am looking for the overdrive pull cable that mounts under the dash. Does anyone have one of these in a vehicle or laying around that they want to part with? I have rebuilt the o/d unit and am ready to install this piece of automotive history in my truck! let me know what you have. Please PM me if you have one.

Thanks, Bob

Re: overdrive pull cable wanted!!

I believe originally came on a 1963 Impala. 41" from back of mounting plate to end of cable housing, 48" to end of pull cable. Cable operates smoothly.

I'm installing a vintage (66-69) Saginaw 3 spd. with a Borg-Warner overdrive in my '71.

Re: overdrive pull cable wanted!!

Here's what mine looked like before the rebuild. I hope to have it back together by the weekend.

Re: overdrive pull cable wanted!!

What do you suppose the value is for one of those. Maybe I should pull the one out of my 67 before I sell it. The whole trans etc, not just the knob and cable. Its probably worth more than the whole rest of the truck...
