I've got some Flowtech glasspacks, (the PurpleHornies), bolted to my headers.
They're pretty loud, They sound good cruising, but on acceleration they're too loud. I'm probaly going to go back to some Turbo mufflers...

they don't last all that long either. After a couple years they generally sound liek crap.
some ppl love the sound, others think it sounds OK at best.

i bought two of them for my build. (2" in/out-lets. 26" long) personally, i enjoy the sound of glasspacks. plus my dad had a set on his old truck, so that influenced it some.

it's all personal preference. but. i like 'em.

I had some on my truck and they sounded descent, but then I stepped up to Flowmaster 40's and I love them!

I thought cherry bombs were the real glasspacks with the preforated core, not the cheap louvered core ones?
