Re: replacment parts

I bought floor pans and passenger side rocker from The Paddock. They are more expensive on some things, but they are about 20 -25 minutes from my work. So it is cheaper for me to buy those larger items from them than to pay for oversize shipping. The panels seem pretty good quality. They have the same stickers as parts I have ordered from Classic Parts and a local body panel company.

I am pretty impressed with Classic Parts. They seem to have a good selection and there shipping is fair. I ordered the front and rear pillers, kick panel, cab corner, rear outer floor all for the passenger side and shipping was around $11.00. I think that was great. I will always check with them when shopping around.

Re: replacment parts

I highly recommend any of the board vendors. I have bought from GMC Pauls and received great parts and service. And they help support the board with $$$, so it would be nice to use them whenever possible.

Re: replacment parts

One bit of advise if you find a board member close to you you will save a ton of money on shipping if you can drive to pick up parts vs shipping. Are you in MO. if so KC has several great vendors just a few hrs away.

Re: replacment parts

[B][COLOR="blue"]I would think if you can get good used parts that is your best option as the repo's don't seem the same quality. I found a very good dent free and rust free 70cst tailgate for $50 a couple of years ago. Now I now that was a very good price but from what I have read the original tailgates are much better than repos as far ar strength, durabilty and fit. I would guess the fit and quality of the used parts are better than the repos. I'll let some other with a greater experience chime in.
